Another earthquake shakes this area

The ground shook again in this area this morning at 12.42 am.. More details shortly

A small shake of 3.3 at 11 kms depth and once again right in this area 7 kms from Barga and 6 from Pieve Fosciana.

No reports of any damage.

QUESTION: Do all these tremors mean something more sinister? I mean, is there bound to be a big earthquake in the region?

ANSWER: No, in fact a series of small tremblers often relieves tensions along a fault that might otherwise have produced a much larger earthquake.
