Emma and her merry men just keep on marching ever onwards. This evening they were at Mordime in Piazza Annuziata in Barga Vecchia for an open air concert which against all expectations defied the rain clouds and kept the piazza on their toes and dry all evening.
Each time this group comes out to play they gain another larger devoted following. It would seem that their mix of 1940 -- 50’s Italian swing is reaching out and touching people. News this week is that they been booked to play in Piazza Angelio at this year’s piazzette festival, so it looks like they will have their chance to show just what they can do to a much larger audience shortly. Watch this space.
Emma e gli Aristodemos this evening were: Renato Marcianò on electric bass, Alessandro Rizzardi on mandolin and sax, Fabio Guazzelli on guitar, Keane on percussion and of course, fronted by the figure of Emma Morton.

Bravissima Emma. A new star rises in the firmament of Barga music. Eventually we’ll all be saying “we knew her back when…”
Beautifully done! Emma and everyone.
