The jobs of Professor Farsetti, who is the principal of the comprehensive school here in Barga and another hundred school managers across Tuscany are at risk due to the changes in the rules of concorso by which they were offered their post of work in 2012.
A bureaucratic tangle after an examining board official for the concorso resigned putting in doubt the whole concorso and all those who were awarded positions has meant that many people could lose their present job even if they had been doing that work for the past couple of years.
Patrizia Farsetti was one such case and the people of Barga were out on the streets today in large numbers to voice their support and attempt the change this bizarre situation with a demonstration which snaked through the city and ended with a signed petition which will be handed on the relevant authorities.
I rappresentanti dei genitori dell’I.C. di Barga hanno organizzato per sabato 18 aprile una manifestazione a sostegno della propria Dirigente Patrizia Farsetti. La manifestazione vuole essere un atto di solidarietà per la loro Preside e per tutti gli altri Dirigenti coinvolti in questa assurda situazione.
Il corteo partirà alle ore 15:00 dal piazzale antistante la Chiesa del Sacro Cuore (Via Roma), in prossimità della sede della Scuola Primaria di Barga e attraverserà il centro di Barga per raggiungere il piazzale del Fosso.
Al corteo è invitata tutta la popolazione, parteciperanno anche alcuni dirigenti che si trovano nella stessa condizione della preside barghigiana e alcune associazioni operanti sul territorio e che collaborano con la scuola per il miglioramento dell’offerta formativa.
Sul piazzale del Fosso sono previsti interventi di solidarietà da parte dei partecipanti che lo desidereranno. – source
