Protagonista della serata, il rinomato sassofonista Pietro Tonolo, un nome rispettato ben oltre i confini europei, che si è unito per un’occasione speciale all’affermato trio Zorn-Lazzeri-Fabbri.
Il set della serata, “Our Favorite Ellington”, ha esplorato un lato meno conosciuto di Duke Ellington, portando alla luce autentiche gemme nascoste, altrettanto ricche, raffinate e innovative quanto le sue composizioni più celebri.
