Just last month we published an article (here) about local musician, Geoff Collins White and his history of making music which stretched back right not just to his time with Jacks Pack, The Beagles or Grizzly here in Barga but in fact to the start of the swinging sixties in London, UK with a band called the A-JAES and the publishing of a new 45 rpm vinyl disc.
Now comes news that after a recent fall, Geoff Collins-White now needs your help.
Geoff needs a badante to help him at his home in Buvicchia, Barga.
The house has a lovely view over the valley towards the town, and he promises not to talk too much about music or his brother Trevor (who was in the famous idiosyncratic American pop and rock band Sparks).
We need someone to help as soon as possible, so spread the word please, and let’s get him rocking again.

Solo il mese scorso abbiamo pubblicato un articolo (qui) sul musicista locale Geoff Collins White e sulla sua storia musicale che risale non solo al suo tempo con Jacks Pack, The Beagles o Grizzly qui a Barga, ma addirittura all’inizio degli anni ’60 a Londra, Regno Unito, con una band chiamata A-JAES e la pubblicazione di un nuovo disco in vinile a 45 giri.
Ora arriva la notizia che, dopo una recente caduta, Geoff Collins-White ha bisogno del vostro aiuto.
Geoff ha bisogno di un badante che lo aiuti a casa sua a Buvicchia, Barga.
La casa ha una splendida vista sulla valle verso la città, e promette di non parlare troppo di musica o di suo fratello Trevor (che faceva parte della famosa e idiosincratica band pop e rock americana Sparks).
Abbiamo bisogno di qualcuno che possa aiutare il prima possibile, quindi spargete la voce per favore, e facciamo in modo che torni a rockeggiare.
