A fire has keeping four regional fire service helicopters busy above Coreglia near the road leading to Crocialetto for most of the day.
The flames developed following a lightning strike with the storm that hit the northernmost area this morning.
On site the firefighting teams of the Union of Municipalities, the Fire Brigade and, as mentioned, four helicopters.
They are still trying to prevent the flames from reaching the inhabitants of Crocialetto and Preta.
