Olympic medal for Sara Morganti

The Grade I Individual Para Equestrian brought it all at the Tokyo2020 paralympics Games.

Bursting with emotion and passion, we were treated to a masterclass of teamwork, sportsmanship and true understanding.

Roxanne Trunnell @pararoxie gave it her all for the gold medal, becoming the first @usequestrian athlete since 1996 to take an Individual Gold at the Paralympic Games with pure elegance.

Coming in hot was Rihards Snikus @dejas_karalis, who felt the music and bust the moves with the King Of The Dance to snatch the silver in style

Bronze went to Sara Morganti, whose calmness and poise encapsulated the crowd

Morganti was world champion in 2014 and 2018, always riding Royal Delight, a German mare.

From an early age she dedicated herself to horse riding after the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and becoming the leading rider of the Italian movement.
