The local infant school here in Barga organised a special Christmas market in La Loggia dei Menchi in Barga Vecchia this weekend where it was possible to buy Christmas decorations and handmade presents for the holiday season.
As you can see from some of the images above, the traditional Italian pasta has taken on a new life and a new decorative feel.
The terrible weather kept many people away but that did not stop the enjoyment of many of the local children who turned up to play in the Ludoteca – the games park set up in the dry of La Loggia.
