Sometimes its nice looking back at some of the older articles on the site. It gives us a clearer picture of how we are doing and what we have done so far. Sometimes, the technology has moved so fast in so short a time that the articles are already looking very dated – other times not … and here is a good example of something which we published almost a decade ago but which is still an interesting read. Recently we have seen some new applications on the iphone and android smart phones which automatically join up a series of images into one movable panorama and it brought back to mind some of the 3D images that we did all those years ago of churches here in Barga.
Using the search tool on giornaledibarganews up came that article:
A virtual tour of the churches in Barga – a special for the readers of barganews.com – a virtual tour of all of the beautiful ancient churches of Barga. Click on any of the links below and be prepared to not believe your eyes. It feels as though you are actually inside the church and looking around at the incredible light filtering through the marble columns and across the ornate fixtures.
