Standing room only last night and people were turned away from the theatre as all tickets were sold out for a show aptly named “emozione and musica”.
Ten years after his death, the brother, cousins and daughters of the Barga musician Alessandro Cosimini finally managed to get a commemoration show on to the stage to celebrate his life and music.
As Antonio Cosimini said, ” it’s now or never” … the show was such a success that there is a very good chance that “emozione and musica” could even become an annual event.
I ragazzi di Nico with their regia Katia Cosimini provided the main structure for the show (no strangers to barganews as we have often featured their shows in the past)
Guest musicians who had worked with Alessandro in the past added to the gala performance as the emotion built up during the show to a final duet between the Alessandro’s surviving daughters Sara and Arianna
