Per tutti quelli che si rammaricano della rielezione di Berlusconi, mi sento triste.
mi sento triste perchè significa che c’è ancora gente convinta di trovarsi in una democrazia. c’è ancora gente che crede che l’amministrazione del paese dipenda dal candidato eletto.

Cavolo lo sapevo!
mi sembrava che mi stessi scordando qualcosa, eppure avevo anche notato che c’era un’pò più di gente per strada, i ristoranti erano pieni, in giro si incontravano famigliole dall’aria festaiola.
Era la festa della liberazione!
che cretino, ho rischiato di fare proprio una grande figura di merda, sarà meglio che non racconti a nessuno di questa mia “distrazione”.. ci passerei per ignorante, o per lo meno per ingrato. Ma come, qualcuno ti ha liberato e tu non mostri neanche il minimo di gratitudine, vergogna! Gia…che vergogna, non mi ricordo neppure della ricorrenza della mia liberazione…ma da cosa mi hanno liberato? Ma dal fascimo idiota che non sei altro! ai tempi del fascismo mica eri libero, se manifestavi contro qualcosa che non ti andava arrivava la polizia e ti prendeva a manganellate, ora mica succedono queste cose…

Ormai ci siamo.

il “loro” progetto sta giungendo all’attuazione. Il progetto del controllo. Il progetto del dominio.
Il peggor incubo dell’essere umano sta per diventare definitivamente realtà. Roba da fantascienza, incredibile, inaccettabile.

Large Round Pebbles To You As Well
I have spent the last few weekends carefully placing stones on top of each other.
If you place enough of them together, they form a wall.
When I got to six stones high the wall fell over.
I decided to build a variable height five stone tall wall.
To achieve variable height I used large stones for the left part of the wall and smaller stones for the right part of the wall.
The lower part of the wall is very useful for stepping over safely.
Variable angles were built into the design by using a wonky placement technique.
A friend of mine thought it was very unstable, uneven and crooked.
He obviously isn’t an artist.
My wall is a creative placement exercise.
My wall doesn’t and musn’t look like a bricklayer’s wall.
It’s more an artist’s wall.
It’s more a writer’s wall.
It’s more a politician’s wall.
It’s a Politically incorrect wall with structurally rebellious tendencies.
You mustn’t just look at it
You have to interpret it.
You have to critically review it

Non Smoking - Day 2 (PM)
Continued from This Morning
It is 14:00 here in France, I am still not smoking and Madame Joan has stopped singing and dancing. It all happened around 08:45 am. I was sitting in the corner of the courtyard watching Madame Joan blowing smoke circles, when she suddenly started coughing and spluttering really badly.
I thought she was a goner. I ran over to see if I could do anything, but by the time I got there, she was laying on the floor gasping for her last breath of air. I took a deep breath and started to give her the kiss of life. After a few seconds, I felt a hand pull hard on the back of my neck; this was followed by a very acute pain in my top lip. The main problem with going to sleep without having had a goodnight cigarette is that you really, really miss it. Many of you will be familiar with the sensations of an erotic dream. Well take that thought and apply it to a smooth slim gold tipped cigarette. Soon you will be surrounded by Marlboro Reds and Camel Lights, Vogue Blue Slims and Lucky Strikes.
The smoke disperses and you wake up in a sweat, your heart pounding, your head spinning and lips desperately pouting for that extraordinarily beautiful but unobtainable cigarette. DAY 1
The decision had already been taken so as I raised my elbow and flicked my last fag end into the gutter a million happy smoked filled images passed through my mind, I was sad but at the same time proud of what I had done or more appropriately what I was intending to keep on not doing.
Only a few minutes had passed and I was already battling with the thought of not being able to do it again, this wasn’t a physical thing as I still had plenty of nicotine floating around my body to last at least another 30 minutes, this was psychological, I was starting to cave-in even before I had started or should I say stopped. Ogni tanto un salto in duomo andrebbe fatto, specialmente quando non c'è nessuno, ancora meglio se di notte. Non voglio dire che sia un posto romantico o cavolate del genere, per me il duomo non è un posto romantico, anzi, è utile proprio se si è da soli; sarà per i rumori, per la luce, o sarà perchè queste pietre trasudano tempo, storia, sarà perche per mille anni le persone sono venute qui nella speranza di risolvere le loro angoscie, i loro dubbi, a cercare risposte alle loro domande inesprimibili. bargopensiero: pensieri al piombo
….. è da un pò di giorni che mi riecheggiano nella testa alcune frasi, pronunciate propio da miei amati concittadini, frasi che ho sentito migliaia di volte.
Perche anche a me è stato consigliato di scappare da qua, di cercare un futuro fuori da questo paese, che Barga non offre nulla ai giovani, insomma un plebiscitario "-va via di qua in cerca di fortuna" che forse è un pò un retaggio intrinseco nel pensiero barghigiano. Il DdeGGiBBell
Credo sia giunto il momento di sputare un po’ di veleno e di togliermi qualche sassolino dalle scarpe. Parliamo delle Piazzette. Anzi parliamo di quello che le Piazzette erano. Ho festeggiato innumerevoli compleanni alle Piazzette essendo nato l’11 Luglio e cadendo quindi il mio compleanno proprio nel periodo della festa. La festa non durava 10gg, durava quasi un mese se non ricordo male ed era un’enorme “sagra” all’interno del paese con tanto di musica da sagra, con tanto di grigliato e pasta fritta, con tavoloni e panche. Guardando alle piazzette adesso sicuramente la voglia di organizzare il compleanno è passata. Le piazzette si stanno piano piano trasformando nella festa dei ristoranti/gelaterie/enoteche che piano piano ( e ben vengano ) stanno nascendo all’interno delle mura della cittadella. Loud Shirt
Running on from this story:
As a protest against the low DB levels I pulled out one of my 1970’s loud shirts and cat walked down the high street.
I was immediately stopped by a noise warden but I was let of with a warning as the shirt only managed to register 40DB. I think the low levels were mainly due to natural colour fading and lack of washing, the later causing noise distortion due to the so-called dulling stain effect.
I was however cautioned for not carrying the right documentation, apparently the type of shirt I was wearing needs a special entry certificate which certifies that it doesn’t clash with the official old town colouring scheme. Continue reading ‘Loud Shirt’

A pasqua ho fatto un giro a Pisa, Lucca e Garfagnana. Mi sono trovato benissimo in quanto ho sempre trovato ospitalita in aree ben attrezzate. L'appunto è verso alcuni comuni (gestori delle aree) che hanno trovato una simpatica formula. Il pagamento è giornaliero e va da mezzanotte a mezzanotte. Cari sindaci, ovviamente ci state prendendo per tonni!
Un povero disgraziato (si fa per dire) che vuole vistare le vostre belle zone, pagare gli accessi ai musei, acquistare prodotti artigianali e prelibatezze gastronomiche e perchè no, mangiare in qualche buon ristorante si trova a dover pagare il doppio. ITALIAN tenor Alessandro Maffucci and pianist Roberto Russo are currently touring a new work by the composer, Michael Stimpson. Article here A set of songs based on the poetry of Giovanni Pascoli provides the inspiration for Michael's music, which can be heard at Salisbury Methodist Church on Saturday night, along with works by Schumann, Tosti and Ginastera.Giovanni Pascoli was one of Italy's best-loved poets in the late 19th/early 20th century. Michael has set Dall'Alba Al Tromonto, highlighting the poet's love of nature, to his music. "Within the musical setting are the bells of Barga, which were both a stimulus and source of comfort to Pascoli," said Michael. The programme has already toured Italy and was performed at St James', Piccadilly, on Monday. The English Chamber Orchestra and the Allegri String Quartet have performed previous works composed by Michael Stimpson in venues that take in the Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall. source; Salisbury Journal
