A crystal clear
Christmas day.
A late afternoon walk
On a leafy path
On a steep slope
Above the river.
Into
The low setting sunlight
Filtered
Through leafless trees.

gordon mcharg at the Fin che la barca va exhibition Italy
November 1st 2001 set a major precedent in the art calendar as the opening day of the first ever public exhibition on a London Underground tube train. It featured 42 artists from the UK and around the globe.
ART-TUBE 01 was shown within all six carriages of one Piccadilly Line tube train and ran throughout the month of November. Every
carriage featured seven artists exhibiting two art panels each. The exhibition was installed in the advertising spaces inside the train.Art Tube 01. Group show w/ Damien Hirst, Yoko Ono, Gavin Turk, Gordon McHarg, Jamie Reid etc. 2001.
Gordon McHarg, presented his life size Charles Saatchi waxwork, Him, which vastly amused and entertained the Westbourne audience. So lifelike indeed was the sculpture that many people thought it was a real person performing a static mime. - portobello film festival London 2005
