- Every now and again, something really out of the ordinary
happens. And often it happens, just out of the blue. Last night
in Piazza Angelio was one of the moments. A chance meeting at
the Osteria
Angelio bought together a wierd mix of musicians. The resulting
music was something to be remembered for a long time to come.
Two pipers from Scotland - Finlay and Iain, Sigurd a Norwegian didgeridoo
player, Rory a Liverpool drummer, Barga's favourite musician

Carde and even Keane
pulled out and dusted off his Irish Drum.

Not the sort of sound you would expect to hear on
enterering a medieval piazza in Italy but never the less, the
mix of cultures, languages and instruments came together in a
remarkable piece of music.
