It could have been termed "the
battle of the Saxes"
On one side, the massed ranks of Saxophonia. 12 sax, good
and strong under the firm leadership of General "Jack the
Lad" Rizzardi, but on this occasion, outflanked and with
their backs up against the wall.
On the other, the mobile troops of the musical hit squad,
"Banda alla Ciance"
The encounter lasted but for a few brief tense seconds and
then something in the nerve of the normally ice-cool "Ciances"
snapped and they hurried left the scene of the battle and move
in on to more fertile ground in the Piazza Garibaldi. |
